Bustari Yusof, the No. 1 go-to person in the Najib administration

The Bustari-owned company, Lebuhraya Borneo Utara Sdn Bhd, is the project delivery partner for the *RM27 billion Pan Borneo Highway*. 

The Star said in a July 4, 2015 report that LBU stands to earn RM1.3 billion from the highway.

The above mega-project was awarded directly from former PM Najib to Bustari at a huge difference in pricing that benefits Bustari the brother of Fadillah Yusof(Federal Minister of Works JKR)In the local news, it was announced that the mega-project will cost only 12.5 billion. However, LBU was awarded a larger sum of 27 billion for the project instead. This is a conflict of interest and is proof of corruption. 

The MACC is currently investigating the matter. In light of that, the Ministry of Finance will not only temporarily halt payments to LBU pending the investigation, all payment for awarded government projects without tender will also be temporarily frozen.

Before the election, Bustari claimed 4 billion from the MOF  but all the sub-contractors under his company did not receive a single cent. The company even gave the sub-contractors all sort of excuses to prevent them from receiving payment.  

Hopefully the truth will prevail and the sub-contractors will receive payment for their hard work.


After BN lost the election, it was discovered that Tan Sri Bustari could not be contacted. The sub-contractors are all looking to locate him to collect the payment he owes them.
