“My call to not reduce the subsidies for RON95 at this time does not conflict with my views that subsidies should eventually be restructured so that it can accurately target those that are eligible and reduce deficit spending by the government.
“What is wrong with any politician changing their stance or approach if it will benefit the public? Saifuddin should support my stance against the reduction of subsidies for RON95 rather than attack me personally,” he said.
